I drive as fast as I have to or as fast as I can to get the job done. Just because we may have a specific load time doesn't mean that's when we're going to get loaded. Once an appointment time for delivery is set, it's hard to move it back. In TCD if we miss an appointment, it may be days before we can get another one. If we do miss an appointment because we didn't do our best to make it we're probably not going to be getting any detention or layover pay.
My old truck did 68 mph. I'm pretty sure my new one is set at 65 for Canada. It also has chains in it. My wife asked me if I knew how to put them on. I told her everything I know about putting chains on I learned from watching "Ice Road Truckers".It also has a drivers seat that pivots. It has a DD15 instead of the DD13 12387 has.
I'm home until tomorrow. I'm supposed to call in at 0800 tomorrow but I have to get some blood work done for some upcoming doctors appointments so I'll probably just go on in from there.
