    There IS no fine print!

There is NO law that says all Canadian signs MUST be in English and French. You do NOT see French on signs in Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island, for instance.

All LABELS on goods must have French and English but not signs.

We go through Quebec on a weekly if not more often basis (just went through again this morning). The signs there have NO ENGLISH on them, especially the lit up construction signs. I can take pictures of them on our way back if you like.

Once you cross into Ontario, you see English AND French on the signs.

In Alberta signs are rarely in both languages. However, in and around the Edmonton International Airport, signs are in both languages.

You are right about Quebec. Those signs do not explain what is happening if you do not know french. It is always an experience to run there.

I have to fuel at the hook, so usually end up sleeping there, but I will get up and drive to another truck stop to get my morning cup of java, the hook has something but it sure isn't coffee, and it's that way at all of them !

Depending on the size of your coffee mug add a 1/2" to 1" of french vanilla creamer. Not bad then. :D :D

You put it in your coffee and you will be stuck up with your nose in the air. Neck will stiffen after you raise your coffee mug.:biggrin_2559:
