    Wargames,I wish I would have gone that route.If I would have known then what I know now.After 35 years of every aspect of trucking including 20 years as an owner operator,I wish I would have gone in to a skilled trade or union trucking job

    There is a Dayton Freight Yard 1.5 miles from my house....:biggrin_25520:...they would have to be pretty bad for me not to consider them if I had met their requirements.

    It's really stupid that you can drive trucks in the military for years and not have a civilian CDL.

    I raise my right hand a swear I was told by a female Conway Recruiter in July 2012 that six months experience was required in order to be considered. Maybe things changed and maybe for the better. I hope so that I way I can apply there also! :yes2557:

    I looked at all their job offers in all the states. I think their offer $17-20 an hr to start is great imo. I was going to apply if Fort Meyers Florida since I live in Fort Lauderdale but the job went quickly. Hope it works out for you and post how it went if you get in.
