Holy hell, how did that happen. 5th wheel didn't latch? Looks kind of like the landing gear collapsed too.

Honestly they seem to finally have the system working right. I haven't had to call in because of a workflow issue in the past month. The last 2 calls I made were about 3 Weeks ago because I was doing a late night pickup and the customer didn't leave any bills. The other was a few days ago because the forwarding company I was relaying to in Laredo was closed on weekends. Took me 2 minutes for them to move the relay back to the OC. Spent 20 minutes on hold first though. That's their biggest time waster now.

Other than that the system has been working well. Now that the instructions for the proper way of requesting an empty are out there I haven't had any problems with that either.

Its going good only 2 issues so far with pay first time had to due with a departure not being sent so some loads didn't get in the system until Tuesday the day after the pay period ends and the second time was due to the workflow transition my ica didn't put in the empty trailer I had on me when I switched over so I didn't get paid for 2 loads which was about 1500$ so I had to wait until the next pay period to get those loads

Are you sending the "Request Trailing Unit" message from the "Send Msg" tab in WF? That is the correct way to do it. The best way is to send it either just before arriving or as soon as you arrive to the Consignee. About 5-15 minutes later your Pickup Empty task will update with a list of trailers. If none of the ones on the list are available or the list is still empty you should then use the Exceptions button. If you find a trailer you like on the list go hook up and select it from the list. Then complete the task and you should be good to go.

The old way was to just hit exceptions right away and send the trailer you wanted. This was wrong and for some reason was taught to the entire fleet. Doing this causes the message to error in the internal system and then somebody has to manually fix it.

Doing it the right way is a completely automated process with nobody in Green Bay interacting. If you follow the steps it should work.

I was doing it the wrong way with just sending the exceptions and would always get error messages about trailers not being available or not at my location. After doing it the right way for the past couple months I haven't had a single message like that.

    Female Driver Thanks this.
