Its really not that bad. Yes it can be hot, cold, icy, and not alot of fun at times. Best part is on those days you sleep really really good that night.

Man snowwy, you make it sound like we're all one brake check away from the grave.A little common sense goes a looooong way. The only thing I don't like about this working in the rain. The heat and snow ain't so bad, but I love being outside.
MJ1657 Thanks this. -

I have a good set of rain gear. Its expensive but the good stuff breathes and is worth the money you spend on it.

Where would one get something like that. That's why I usually won't wear rain gear, cause I sweat like crazy with it on.NWMAXI Thanks this.

I have carharrt rain gear. Look for anything that isn't plastic or rubber type material. Even with the good rain gear it can get warm but not nearly as bad.Oscar the KW and NWMAXI Thank this.

Securement is pretty common sense, but it is very important. I drive for TMC, and I was impressed with their training program overall. I came in with some flatbed experience so I didn't have to do the whole thing, but from what I saw, if you have no experience, you'll leave Des Moines with a pretty #### good idea of what your doing.
MJ1657 Thanks this.
