Its one of the hardest road test in the industry if u don't use 2 hands on the wheel fail if your tandems creep over in the other lane fail if u stop at a light and u go past the white line fail it u leave more then 3-5 feet from the curb when turning fail if u grind a gear or miss one while shifting fail if u don't do traffic checks every 10 seconds fail if u go over the speed limit fail if u don't buy the osr lunch fail LOL its as easy as pie 8yrs of experience u shouldn't be nervous just hit someone or something speed and u will be fine

Hahaha well thanks i think...lol.... i have 8 years but its mostly all local.. i dont anticipate a problem but its just jitters i think.... ive been driving mostly tanker oilfield work for the past year and want to get away from it... i think a big diff is ive been driving 8ll transmissions and there geared for offroad mostly...alot of back raod extremely hilly roads where im from...alot of roads that are gravel and one lane with alot of steep drop offs...im not worried about that stuff its the in town driving since ive been back roadin it for quite a while...lol. ive also done some dock bumpin with a dairy where im from. What is the process for the test...pretrip? Like complete incab description like when o got my cdl yrs ago?

Also i wanted to thank all of you schneider drivers... the choice has been made extremely easy after literally reading from page 375 to current... I'd like to thank ike stephans i think is his name after watching numerous vids of his on youtube it made the decision even easier.. I have to be honest i put in the app back in april but its taken me this long to decide to get out of the local oil field work..it was nice and the money was nice but they ran no logs( they were dot exempt) and we started at 3:30 am and didn't return to the yard untill 9-10 at night .... i felt like it was unsafe and i didn't want to risk my cdl any longer on something like that... i have zero accidents and zero tickets and have had alotof driving awards and wanted to keep everything clean... i know schneider is a safe working company as far as running legal and supposedly if you feel unsafe during bad driving conditions you can stop..that deff wasen't the case running oilfield.. any comments or questions or advise for me?
