Breezewood pa at the TA for a shower & breakfast. Then off to the Americold in Leesport PA. Land of the $4/gal fuel.

 

Just came back from the land of $4.50 per gallon fuel. Totally sucks. Got a new plan for that... going to look at downloading the entire fuel price page, and generate per-state averages. Start declining loads to regions of ultra-high fuel prices... like the west coast. PA can usually be dealt with by fueling before you get there.

Picked up a dry load in Evansville IN last night... uneventful ride through Nashville - tied-up at the TA east in Knoxville. Headed for Sanford NC.

Enroute to the Leesport PA Americold on State Route 61S and SSTOOOPPPP....... local police directing traffic pops outfrom behind the truck in the middle lane (I was in the right lane).... They had a weigh station set up on a side road. No warning signs, nothing before the stoplight. Got a hard brake on the QC as well. So I called the police department and told them that they had a very very unsafe operation out there.

I91 sb rest area CT....this seems to be there place i stop for a brk whenever im up here reload in NH and stop in CT for the night its becoming a routine...headed to nashville got less than 2wks to get the annual inspection on this truck fm is really cutting it close

 

You can get an annual at any TA, Petro or Speedco. Just let RA know what you need done.

Sanford NC. Supposed to be a drop, but no empties. No one around to do a live unload. I do have signed bills.
