Does not bother me at all as I have already sold it to a drilling company at a 6000 euro profit.
I never intended to keep is in the first place.

Don't worry...You'll be back in the saddle in charge of your own destiny again,in a few years in your new R730/R800 when things come back around....BTW,I am hearing the Fuel Duty Rebate is nearly through for Irish hauliers.

Did you see the new independant front suspension with rack & pinion set up on the new Volvo FH..."car like handling and roadholding" is promised from Volvo. IIRC I first saw this setup two years ago in Florida on a new Freightliner. Maybe someone on here has some experience/feedback how it stacks up in reality?

Ahh I don't know, I wouldn't get back into it unless it was specialized haulage. I made good money at the cattle when it was going good!
It's about time they did something with the fuel, it's too late for many a small company but it's certainly welcome, besides every international hauler was filling up abroad so the offset of trucks filling up at home should mean very little loss to the revenue

Apparently Irish volvos are not getting that suspension, they must be ####eing themselves at the thoughts of warranty claims on our unique roads!
