Agreed. Use a USB wireless mouse and turn off the touchpad. That's your problem. You hand is skimming the touchpad.

I picked up the Samsung Chronos 7 from best buy. It is truly the best laptop I have owned. I have owned 10 sony vaio laptops over the years due to being thin and sturdy, but the Chronos 7 is far superior. It has a brushed aluminum case, backlit keyboard, 8 core CPU, and Nvidia graphics for gaming. Also is the thinnest laptop I've ever seen. I don't think it's even an inch. I wonder if the new chromebook AM77 talks about is good, I'll have to scope one out.

If you don't want to turn the mousepad off, you can adjust the sensitivity. Make it so its not so touchy.

Years ago Dell was a good machine. Then they decided to cut cost and offer products at ever lower prices.
The Quality of Dell products has suffered greatly.
