I'm out 5-6 weeks at a time, after that I take 4-5 days off. I dare anyone to find a company that's OTR and does more than one day off for every seven out out at best six out. Who can honestly afford to take more than that off with it being unpaid.
Conway looking to raise pay rates, layover and benefits?

Both Marten and Sneider have fleets w/ more time off, not that I would work for them. And honestly alot of guys at CWTL can afford the xtra time off, I can think of 5 off the top of my head that are OTR and most of the NE guys as well. Alot of people out this way do it for insurance. I see the NE fleet losing many if obamacare stays because most self employed won't need to pay$1500 mo for insurance then since we would be eligible for federally created insurance pools

Schneider and Roehl have that. If you have a couple of years of experience and you dont mind teaming Secure Land Transport, Boyle and other "hot" team only carriers offer way better home time. Ive heard of East-West Express to offer teams better home time.
Thing is though, teams are valuable, unless you work for Crusty or Krispy Krengland. So they should try to keep us happy like some team only companies do.
But its fine, i wont rant anymore about this, im almost gone anyway. -
Tell you what, if our company drivers keep getting into 200+ accidents a month, we will get NO Raises, pay will drop, and conway will go bankrupt in the next 2 yrs.

Hey we AREN'T getting raises, pay HAS gone down, and health insurance IS going up. We are now like every other ATA member company, no need to wait 2 yearsdouble yellow Thanks this.
