I've been driving forever in New England meaning New Hampshire,Maine and Vermont. We don't even HAVE chains and I don"t have a clue on how to put them on.We just slow down and keep trucking.I haven't pulled over yet because of too much snow { even at 3 ft ,the roads are sort of plowed } I just slow down and use my head.
Giggles the Original, otherhalftw and FEELTHEWHEEL Thank this. -
I never had to throw iron running on 80 in WY.....The ribbon ices up at night.....But simple rule....If you can't walk on the ribbon....Don't drive on it......
Chains don't work on ice btw.......You'll just chew up the chains...The tires...and the ribbon....
And end up going nowhere..... -
