Well say all day in Denver after getting unloaded early this am. Got a load to pick up tomorrow in Greeley. So right now I am at home waiting for tomorrow.

    I hope so..
Was pretty ticked about having to take a load from Holcomb to Amr...I had a feeling it would be Mon before I got out of here.
Tried calling Robin today....she didn't answer the phone all day.

Oh and when I got to Amarillo...the Guard (a pretty Redhead with Long Hair) told me they are way behind....so unless they catch up (yeah right) I might not even get out of here on Monday.

I'm going to look for a more local gig. Both kids in school and growing up fast. Need to spend more time with them before they get tired of me....lol

chillin in de queen...deliver mon morn in denver.had a 1300 mile week.not looking for another job.ill take the bad with the good.thats how it is out here.besides i hate changing jobs and going thru another orientation.listening to how great the company is and how driver oriented they are.every company tells the same story.then u have a great 1st month and then after that u realize its no differant than the last driving job u had.they are all the same.u have to fight for everything u get.they arnt going to call u up and say;sorry u had to set for 2 days, were going to go ahead and make it rite with u and pay u for it.NO u have to fite for it.its the same everywhere u are going to drive.these companies act like they have an annual convention to go over how to run a trucking company because they are all the same.thats o.k.though, we all got started in this buisness thinking that we were chasing the american dreem.foot loose and fancy free.see the country and get paid well for it.i still love driving and love working here in this american dreem called trucking

What management? This is the poorest managed trucking company I have ever been around. I cant imagine an owner allowing people to run a potentially good companyin the ground like this one is.

Just a heads up craigslist in Denver was looking for drivers for Safeway and King Soopers were looking for local drivers a few weeks ago.

They are not all the same, I came to a realization after JBS and FRE that I was looking for the wrong thing. I found a company with 10 trucks, I have been here 2 months and have ran every single day while I am out on the road 500 miles + a day. I pull a dry van so I only spend maybe 2-3 hours a week on docks. I have benefits through my wife so I don't need them. The realization is I have always made the most money with smaller companies, they have to keep you busy to pay their bills, a company with 130 trucks can afford for 10-15 trucks to sit on any given day. The day I quit dragging a reefer was the happiset day of my life. Also with a smaller company I may pull a lot of broker freight, but we are not relying on 2-3 customers for all of our loads so we can pretty much cherrypick where we want to run, Just some food for thought, and I am not bashing FRE,
