What is your brutally honest opinion on being OTR, also what would be your best piece of advise?

ten years to do a million miles? thats 100,000 per year

 

That's not bad at all. Figure 2000 miles per week with two weeks off each year, right around an industry average.

 

You got a watch?! I got a jacket with the company's name on it in BIG letters and my name spelled wrong in small letters; a belt buckle; a wall plaque with my name spelled wrong; a wallet card (I had to fill in my own name. I spelled it correctly.). I took home the satisfaction of meeting a personal goal: one million miles without accident or incident. Felt pretty darn good.
