Thank you for posting this great demonstration. There is nothing scarry about using chains. I've heard drivers say " if it's bad enough for chains, I don't need to be out here." That's a cop out. It's not like your going to be driving on an ice scating rink. If the pass was that slick, it would be closed until it was safe. With chains, you're not going to be driving fast anyway. You're just doing what you need to do in order to get across the pass. The other option is to burn fuel in a truck stop and the money in your pocket hearing the same old stories that I've been hearing for 30yrs. LOL
Not to mention that you could be sitting there for a couple days until the storm passes.

The time is at hand. wont put up the pics but the Coquihalla claimed its first driver of the season a week ago. What a mess.
