Wow someone sure read alot into what was said that was not said but whatever. I think black helo's would have been good for the story, and maybe some high speed flaming wrecks as well. I have driven an auto, also have had to foot the bill when the electronics on one went south. I didn't just pull the 7 grand number out of my ###. I am looking at it from perhaps a different perpective, one of a guy who owns mutliple trucks and have drivers driving for me. I will personally not buy another auto. I would rather stock up on rebuilt 13's it will be cheaper in the long run. I would also never hire anyone who can not drive a stick. See previous reason.
Dinomite and Giggles the Original Thank this. -
well when i am in nj I dont often talk about my love for all sports Boston
assuming people that drive auto's can't drive manuals is very small minded for a big man jim -

Transm pete, and BigJim1937, both of you have enough years and age to debate anyone here, on which is better, and what you think the New Drivers can and cant do driving automatics VS Manual. I try to avoid this subject and the others, like, Pee-Wee`s wanting to Train a Veteran driver. I probably should be banned from some topics here. But Im getting better at these topics, I avoid them.
Giggles the Original, 25(2)+2 and CAXPT Thank this. -

i'm over itstriker Thanks this. -
I still think both of you are Quality Drivers, We tend to stick to what we feel is best, with all our years of service. Im the same way.
With all our years driving, we wont change for anyone, and our thoughts. Both of you wouldn`t have that many years behind you, If you kept changing your ways. We adapted to a style and likes and WONT change for anyone. Reading from drivers like yourselves, is the best part of trucking. Newbies, Listen and learn. It wont be long and were all going to be gone.CAXPT and Giggles the Original Thank this.
