I don't think you would forget Ralphs... the fresh food side, 90° back with a wall on front you will rub... hence the term rainbow wall from all the different colors on it.

Not all states, Tennessee is one that doesn't do the credit. Washington DC is another. There are 3 or 4 more. Where are you headed?

Heading to Hershey... really just need to get through Arkansas Scales though... will do 50 gals at a time and be ok I think... if my math is right I am going to need to run an extra 150 miles or so to burn off the excess weight... big circle

Just looking at the map on google so I dont know if its a truck route or not but US67 runs parallel to I-30 a mile or so to the south. That might be a way around the scales.

Unfotunately, the THP is not very understanding. They are also really bad about ticketing if you don't change lanes for emergency vehicles on the shoulder.

Its highlighted in orange in the atlas... one exit to the next... through downtown Hope, but that makes me think it is a route they would watch awful close...

I have been that "emergency worker" on the side of the highway working traffic accidents. I wish that all states would heavily ENFORCE this law! 98% of the time there is no reason not to move over.

Funny story... I was working a wreck where the PD had a stretch of I-30 closed. Traffic had to exit to the access road then could get back on about 2 miles down.

Anyway, the PD had orange cones blocking the entrance ramp to I-30 as well as a PD unit with all of his strobes on and he was parked crossways blocking the ramp. When I got to the ramp I turn on all of my strobes and went around the barricade so I could get to the accident. Once I got there and stopped I noticed about a dozen cars sitting on the shoulder that weren't there a few seconds before. Ends up those morons followed me around the barricade to the interstate. Cops made them stop and gave each one a ticket for going around a police barricade! And then made them wait about 30 minutes until we were done with the accident scene before they could leave.
