I have a 2012 T660, and have had some issues, but mostly they have been covered by warranty, like the windsheild havint the wind blow through it, also the fuel tank issue and the toe out of adjustment and the doors needed adjusting. Once the warranty work was complete, have not had another problem. Was having a pulling problem and had them Dyno, and found that it was out of adjustment on the engine.
question for the L/O's

The trade in answers on a lease you are given here are not quite accurate. Except for the lemon law reply. If you are "LEASING" not got a loan and buying, then you should be able to take that truck back to where you got it and complain about the small and big stuff, if it is a factory default, ie. the bolts loose on the leafs causing an alignment job, then YES, you have a legal case here for the factory to pick up the bill on this.....but, you have to stand up for yourself, you HAVE to pitch a strong argument, stand up for what you think is right.
The other reply here is also correct: Read the lease agreement, all to often, people want to jump the gun and get into their own truck, not really looking at the over head, ie fuel cost, financial responsibility from the driver when you sign on with a company. Honestly, this isnt the time to try to own your own truck unless you already have something in the bank to build on top of. Make sure your house hold bills are made, specially if you are married and you just convinced your wife that you can make ALL this extra monies, lease purchase guys are in the biz to glorify this.....not to be honest on the expense side. I know, I did this, and I regreted without having a financial plan in place first!
I thought it would be cool to be an owner op, my own boss, making my own decisions....lease thru a company?! NO WAY man, company programs are geared for the company, not you!!!!!! they may feed you lines of all glory.....but, unless you got money in the bank already...........you will go down quick! and youll be back on the company side before you know it.....
I know....been there, done that.......
But, if you have a new truck, there ARE warranties in place....if there is a factory default, pitch a small ######, companies will cover the bill, theyll call it a warranty issue.......you DO have rights, you are NOT just stuck with crap. -
most of that should have been warranty issues I would have thought
it would be with transam anyway you should ask
i havn't paid for any of that stuff but it is all minor stuff
no one builds a good truck anymore but i love mine
all things considered KW T700 -
Lemon law - ? Is that for 3 breakdowns ( repairs ) of one item , or just 3 breakdowns .Seems like the carrier would help out some with this ( talking to the maker ) since the they have a history ? Might tell * someone * that you are going to show a loss of income of days/time lost ? because of break downs

Im guessing im gonna have to eat the cost for tires but hoping to get them to pay for alignment. -
I am not having issues making money except when im fixing stuff on this truck. LOL Like i said before-I run team with my son-my truck never stops except to be fixed or get maintenance done. My bills are paid and I always got bank. I have made more since i got my truck than in a long time. I just want my truck to be right--thats it. I have had my truck just under 5 months-it had 500 miles on it when i got it--it now has 104k miles on it--I have no problems making money-We have only had 2 negative checks and one was from a safety hold where swift forgot to send in some papers and the other was from hometime and the overage miles hitting in same week. I have no complaints on what im making. -
That is good to hear--hopefully my bugs will be worked out soon..I would hate to think i need to move all this stuff again off my truck==we got too much stuff on here. LOL -

it hasnt cost him a dime, other than downtime
its a running joke him and i have whenever we compare my old clunker to his new clunker
