It seems TA would better serve their customers if they had a janitorial staff that would actually wash the "DNA" off the bathroom stalls, and paved their freeking parking lots......or at least filled in the "Ground-Zero" sized pot holes in their parking lots

they will no doubt scew that place up with idle air.
was decent size. still at night on the way to plano menards no parking
    go figure.
then on the other hand mayb theyl optimize the lot with more pot holes.
you never know what youl get when t/a comes to town

When I lived in Georgia centuries ago. My S/O showed me where plenty of old TS were down out of Atlanta. It's hard to believe that the TS we know today were really once tiny places......amazing.

What a shame- I used to like that place, because you could almost always find a spot to sneak into (even at night), esp handy if you were delivering to Costco.

You all are right, T/A's rennovation plan will most likely consist of: doubling/tripling the number of potholes in the lot, removing 200 parking spots to replace them with 100 Idle Aire ones, and removing the last few tasty items off the menu, only to replace them with a Quizno's sub. AWESOME!!!

I will say this, when T/A bought out the dumpy T/S in Napoleon,OH, they really did a nice job of cleaning that dump up, and, the food in the T/A restaurant is actually an improvment over what they had before.

    Aint this the truth!!!

Most of the time when a TA takes over eventually quality goes down the drain.

Ladies and gentleman please stand and remove your hat. Another decent restraunt is about to die. Soon the tastless and dimwitted menu will arrive at a table near you. I would really like to meet the moron who decides what is goin on the menu at TA. Is it possible they could remove anything else?:biggrin_25513:

FlyingJ is worse with most of their food tasting like some one tore a chunk of cardboard off and put it on the plate dressed up to LOOK like food.

I have had much better luck with food at the J than at ANY T/A.

I'd rather have smoked skunk than eat at a T/A.

Smoked Skunk? Mmmmmmmm....Tastee!!!! You're right Scarecrow. The last couple of J's I've dined at, were at least respectable foodwise. However, I have yet to find a TA where I will eat in the Restaurant. That is at least the ones that have them. It seems they're replacing them with nothing but fast food joints. If it's either the Pantry Pride or a Subway/ Quiznos', I'll opt for sitting in the lot eating tuna on crackers. It's cheaper and I can at least stomach that food. :pukeleft:
