So I gotta say - one time I tried driving in shorts and sandels in my truck .... I felt totaly outa place ... maybe old school. Don't know. Next day put on work pants, wool socks, and boots, and was comfy as all get out for the next 15 hours.

The most classic episode of cops!!! He was so pissed about getting robbed, he didn't care that he had that on!! my wife looked at me and said " are there really drivers like that? "

I personally doubt I would abandon my truck, at least if its running, its warm inside, worst case if fuel is low would be to cycle back and forth between the tandem webastos, thats what I've done when storm stayed in a village with no fuel available. Shut truck off for 2-4 hours, run webastos, fire truck up, charge batteries, then shut it down again.

That and pack for the weather, as soon as this time of year hits, I have a full snowsuit, parka, winter boots, mitts, toque(s) and a ton of other gear jammed under the bed for that bad nite, usually an airline repair when its -30 with a howling wind.

I remember that episode too - only in Vegas.

It was Leapord skin, wasn't it ? It looked comfy. I tried to find one in my size at the old 76 in Hershey, PA, but they were sold out. Oh well.
