Let it sit unplugged and off for about 12 hours first, then plug into AC for about 3 hours.. when pressing the on button press the reset button a few times.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Life Time Maps (LTM's).

I know I have addressed this before and it has been a little long in a reply back.

For those that have bought Life Time Maps (LTM's) not to include the TND-720 and the TND-510 bought since July of 2012. If you have bought Life Time Maps and are unable to see the map update button on the TND Dock - please send me an E-Mail with your name, E-Mail you registered with, and the serial number of the TND off the back (bottom right).

    Thanks,
    Mark

I just bought a 510 a couple of days ago. I just finished installing the dock software and see the map button. There are two choices purchase or enter unlock code. I remember something you posted in this thread a while ago about Rand giving LTM to people. My simple question is do I qualify? and if so what do I need to do?

Posted two weeks ago - reposting again.

If you just bought the TND-720 from the last promo of trade in your old TND for a TND-720 at a reduced cost, please note that the TND-720 does come with LTM's.

If you bought/buy the TND-720 (aside from the trade-in promo) from an authorized dealer you need to send in form also to get LTM's.

If you bought (since July 1st)/buy the TND-510, currently it also has the LTM's offer. You would need to send in the LTM's form.

If you purchased LTM's separately. Please forward the E-Mail to me (E-Mail address in signature) you got in regards to that LTM's order.

    1. TND-720 (trade in TND for the TND-720 Promo).
    2. Any TND-720 bought from an authorized dealer
    3. Any 510 (bought since July 1st)

Here is the Link. You need to print out the form and mail it in. As suggested make a copy for yourself and date it the day you send in the form. It will take 6-8 weeks and you should get an E-Mail with information about LTM at that time. If it goes past 8 weeks let me know.

Scroll down to the brown box and click on "click on" to get the PDF file that you would need to print out.

    Thanks,
    Mark

My meaning was as to the total number of spaces or size of a given truck stop, not the number open. If my available hours are getting low, it would good to know if a ts ahead in my route is 25 spaces or 200. If its small I may choose to dive into a rest area. If it is a x-large, I may chance it and get a shower! Although I have noticed that TA does list the number of available spaces at some of their locations on their app!

I understand that.. but, even what the TS's may list may not be a true number. I know of one TS that shows 20 spots, but in reality has only 6.

    Thanks,
    Mark
