For my part, I just ignore the minor inconsistencies. What happened to me a few posts back wasn't so much an inconsistency as just a strange. Still my opinion is that is has something to do how the device handles corners and intersections. Don't think map datum takes into account where driveways are and don't think there is any way to that. If I recall, there some posts about that with the original 500 and 700 series units.

Corners and intersections are set in the DB as to parameters of the turns. This affects the router as to how it handles turns.

Life Time Maps (LTM's).
For those that have bought Life Time Maps (LTM's) not to include the TND-720 and the TND-510 bought since July of 2012. If you have bought Life Time Maps and are unable to see the map update button on the TND Dock - please send me an E-Mail with your name, E-Mail you registered with, and the serial number of the TND off the back (bottom right).
Thanks,

Is there any way to either limit or shut off the WINDING ROAD AHEAD warnings. Yesterday between Kettle Falls WA and Grand Forks BC on US 395 I received at least 10 warnings in a 30mi stretch of road. This is very annoying as the whole road is like a snake and that many warnings is not required. At night time it's getting to be a hazzard as the whole screen lights up when the unit is in night mode and gives you a blast of white light while your negotiating some very tight corners. That is not the only road that does this as on HWY 3 through southern BC is winding for hundreds of miles and you get a warning in some parts every few miles. This is a handy feature of the unit but a bit overkill in its programing and would be nice if we could turn it off just like the feature for up and down hills.
Thanks
