Why CSA 2010 and E-Logs are a good thing.

Had a conversation with another driver about EOBRs and he was preaching them upon me and talking about how he never has to run illegal now since he is on them and this is what I had to say... That is something that never ceases to amaze me....All of the "Holier than thou" EOBR lovers claim that guys like me(running paper) are the reason for EOBRs and then say how much nicer it is to "run completely legal" now that they have EOBRs....

If they were running so "illegal" before they had EOBRs....Perhaps they, themselves are the reason that the government is trying to mandate them.

 

i fail to see the need why we need to be baby sat.

our country is based on freedom of speech. but that doesn't apply to this websight????

 

This is not a Government run, public site. This is a privately run site, open to members only to post. 1st Amendment does not apply.

 

your in america. right to free speech. has absolutely nothing to do with the government.

right to free speech means just that. just becuase the internet wasn't around when those rights were written. doesn't mean the rights stop at the internet.

This forum is private property. So the owners of this property has the authority to set limits on what can be posted on their property. The first amendment is not applicable. It's no different than you being able to control what's said in your house, on your property. The Bill of Rights, and Constitutional Amendments are to protect us from the government. When someone cries foul, you violated my rights, to whom do they go to for redress? The government, the courts (judicial branch), that's who, and it's those that we are to be protected from.

 

I have been on E-Logs and am now on paper logs.I did not leave the company I was with because of their being on E-Logs,there were different reasons.
However..Anyone who says they run 100% legal on paper logs-well,I'm not going to believe much what you have to say as your full of ####.

 

So what you are saying is you now run illegal?

 

There has to be something in the Constitution that mandates I do not have to answer that. But you know what I mean Brother.

 

How can I say this to be proper,,,,

We come here under the rules set forth for everyone at the owners request, think of it as someones home so to speak. I was raised to be polite at all cost when in someone home or if invited as we are here, if we do not like what others do as a guest we have the right to say and abide by rules or go and be polite about it.
