At least you will have a clean driving record!
Get your license first & then start looking at the options.
After this, you may have to start out with a courier or expedite company before moving up to the tractor trailers.
For example : pantherII.com advertises you can drive cargo vans for them with no experience.
One step at a time, and you will be there.
Go to top of page and click on CDL practice tests to prepare for the big trucks.

Hmmm. Going straight to big trucks. That's a tricky one. Not sure.
TRKRSHONEY Thanks this. -
Might cut both ways...1) NO EXPERIENCE = not good......can't drive a standard transmission , or has no time in traffic or just the basic skills
2) NO EXPERIENCE = no bad habits developed yet..maybe more motivated to learn -
I don't think anyone will touch you with zero driving experience. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't bet on finding a job right away.

This might be common in big cities like New York where most of the people (in the Urban area) don't own cars. I think even when a person first gets a license at 16 or so (usually-- I got mine at 22), they are still a "danger" on the road until they build up some maturity and experience. You might ask, but I think that most companies would want at least 4-5 years driving.
T...Street and TRKRSHONEY Thank this. -
I think this is a question you can answer for yourself just by reading some of the threads where drivers with years of car driving under their belts, get through school and have difficulty finding their first job. A person with a NEW drivers licence ? truck and trailer worth well over 100,000 dollars plus the load and the liability. Yup you should have no problems, and cows should have no problems flying as well.
