Bellsouth/AT&T DNS Problems - 3 Dec 07

    Something is wrong with the DNS from Bellsouth/AT&T in the southern US. The DNS is really messed up here in the south today. I HAD to set my DNS to OpenDNS to get on tonight! I have no idea what is going on, but we have serious DNS problems right now in the south. IF you can't get on right now, in the south, it is NOT this site! Thanks, CyberGal for our phone conversation and for giving me the IP's I needed.

    CyberGal, we were right! I just saw on news that NINE southern states were without service last night...it WAS Bellsouth/AT&T! We figured it out so they should pay us some, LOL.

    Very well could be...I don't have a problem with this site as I have it set in my Windows Hosts file to resolve the ip to the domain without having my ISP have to look it up.

    Put this entry in your Windows Hosts file so it doesn't happen again...this is our site ip address:

    216.246.32.71 www.thetruckersreport.com


    so that won't happen again to you at any time.
