I finally got the update today. Will have to wait and see if its any good but at least the options are there now for the rest stops and such. Anyone try using the new features yet?

The entire nav system seems to respond a lot faster after the update.

Yea, the whole system seems to be faster. From receiving dispatches to actually getting directions. It used to take 15-20 minutes to receive a dispatch, now it takes about 5 minutes. It's also much faster when hitting reroute. No more hitting reroute and then by the time you get a new route 5 minutes later you are passing the new turn right as it finishes updating and you then have to start again.

The rest area thing wasn't overly helpful when I gave it a try in Knoxville, TN. It just pulled up a bunch of Scenic overlooks in the Smokey mountains. Some of them were on roads that I know for a fact are illegal and unsafe for trucks. So definitely have to be careful with that and check on the map where stuff actually is.

I got my update a couple days ago right as I was rolling into a fuel stop. Just noticed the QC shut down and then reboot with the updating message. Took about 10 minutes from first shutdown to the time it came back up for the update.

One thing I did notice is my fuel point says send in fuel level for solution. I did it twice and still doesn't seem right it has a stop but no name or gallons or even distance. I must be doing something wrong maybe but I'm on layover pay now so stuck here at the TA on 81 in VA good thing I got here early LOL

truck has been to the shop twice this month. first time for a PM. no sensor installed. just came out due to another issue that was corrected. No sensor installed. No complaints here.

I have personally seen the big box of these sensors at that shop. again. No complaints from me.

Here I sit. 4 miles to my next pickup. It's a live load and the place closes in 20 minutes. This place has no empties available for me to take. They won't talk to me on the phone until 30 minutes after I sent in the exceptions. I guess I'm not picking up this load tonight.

Pumpkins....I noticed a new white ProStar yesterday (number 10xxx)...are they getting more of these, and are they equipped with the bunk AC system?

Heaven help them if they are so equipped....

I've also spoken to a few random SNI drivers over the last few weeks, just asking how it's going.

The responses, for the most part, have been under-whelming.

I saw 2 prostars with 10xxx in the Atlanta shop a few days ago when I stopped in to get a light. They sure didn't look new, they were covered in dirt and had the battery boxes ripped out.

I have been seeing a few more prostars around, but still not that many. They have now gone to Cascadias with no paint matched fairings on them. The lower skirts are just the generic grey like the front bumper. Probably lessens the cost of each truck by a bit as well has making it cheaper to replace them when some idiot rips them off. Saw a Newer Cascadia in the shop in Atlanta with the drivers side steps completely crushed. The metal from the step was all that was holding the skirt on the truck.

    48Packard Thanks this.
