You can teach them more than that. Like how to fill out a, check to pay somebody else to unload the trailer. Coming into a truck stop with parking spots allover the place to park your truck next to me. How to go eat at the buffets gaineding 50 pounds a week. How to wake up at 2 AM in the morning to go unload at the warehouse. Etc. you have a lot more to offer than you think. LOL

Just kidding Rick you don't need to send me a nasty response. LOL

Went to Ohio State this afternoon to listen to my two nieces sing at the Women' Glee Club invitational.
    It was excellent.
Will be heading up to the truck after halftime of Sunday Night Football so that Carolynn does not have to get up early. Nice time at home, just not long enough after being out two weeks...oh well!
    Have a great week!

Flatt, forgot completely about the versatillity of the reefer trailer.

I guess my very limited experience showed through on that remark! Still have alot to learn.

    Sarge, DanfromWindsor,

I personally want to learn the securment side of flatbedding. So, whether I was required or not, I would assist and learn everything my trainer was willing to teach. I make it a point to be as versatile as possible in whatever job I have.

Besides, like I stated earlier, I might like Flatbeds!

After Heath I went to coil plus in springfield oh to pick up three coils going to Clinton TN. Stopped about 30 miles shy of there as they did not have overnight parking and I would be out of hours. Got there at 0630 and there was another Maverick there. He drove all night from Springfield and was getting short on hours. We both sat on the road for about 2 hrs and then got permission to head down towards knoxville at the flying j. He was out of hours soon after we got there. I got a load after about 30 minutes to pick up rebar at Gerdau going up to Madisonville ky.
I spent the night at the pilot just inside ky on 24 and got there with about 20 minutes left.
I delivered at 0900 in Marion Il and am now mt waiting for a load at the Pilot down the street.
I pulled in next to a buddy moore driver and he askes me if I am on electronic logs....I answered yes.
He then tells me to go off duty....do I look stupid...or what....no I am going to sit here on duty and burn my clock...duh...lol
