i would be willing to bet this is a career ender. sorry to hear that.
after a quick glance, it will end your driving career. there are too many problems associated with gait as a direct result of the disease. this is one of the many pointless afflictions that humans can get. -
kinda thinkin that myself! anybody else?

Depends on the doctor that does your physical I would think. If you are at the beginning of the disease then I would think they would let you drive longer until your symptoms change. Just a thought on this so don't quote me.. Good luck.

yea, im at the beginning of it, no problems walking anymore, yea, i was thinkin if i get the wrong doctor im done, anybody elsee, just want to be as informed as i can , i appreciate all your input!

my sister has parkinsons and is still an EMT TECH
dad has had it for 20 years threw the meds away 10 years ago
my left hand shakes i just ignore it

it isnt going to affect your driving until your symptoms worsen
just ignore it like I do -
i hear ya, just wonder about the meds and reporting them, or is that their problem? thanx for all replies! i really appreciate it!

Parkinson's disease will no doubt affect your CDL but that could be ten years away it depends on your prognosis. The tremors can be delt with, the ridgidity also. There are drugs such as LDOPA that are used. I don't think the LDOPA will affect your driving ability. Good luck and God bless.

read everything about any of the drugs before you take them Dad's side effects were worse then the disease
