It's just like any other hometime request. Let 'em know a week or two out - date ranges work better than a firm fixed one. I only had a problem not getting there when I needed once because freight wouldn't cooperate... ended up being one day later than I would have liked.
Don't worry, you're going to get introduced to your FM... a good business relationship is very helpful. When you talk to him after you test out, make sure you mention you'd like to be routed home soon to grab your stuff. Its that simple.
It's new. That's about it - they're pretty much the same as all of the newer trailers. Be happy you're not pulling 18032... now that one was a REAL dog!!
130's are just like 100's and 110's... but you should always have your brakes released on a scale... all of them.
Well MF I was told only 120. I just weighed now I have to go again Nd I'm far away. What is the diff weight distributed wise??
Any time you're on a scale with the brakes applied, its going to affect how the scale works. If you're gross is good, you'll most likely be okay. All of the newer trailers are pretty much the same in terms of weight, distribution.
I've been psd for 2 wks. now and my instructer has a pass on his truck so we haven't stopped at any weigh stations. I'm lost when it comes to this subject. Does it flatbed not have to worry about weight like reefers or tankers. Or should i wait n talk with my trainer about this kinda stuff. My instructer is Txx. reginal and home on sat. And sun Tells me not to worry bout learning the qc now that my trainer will teach me those things. Should I look into getting a new instructer or just finish psd and start from scratch with my tnt trainer?
