so how has your overall time been with them? do you get good miles? and how is the pay i know they start .29 a mile but how do your weekly checks look? and would you recommend them for a newbie, thanks ...
-
My overall time so far with them has been positive. Depending on how hard I run; I have been getting between 2000 and 2800 miles a week. My paychecks covers my bills and able to save a little. The key is not use the cash advances you are able to get. I would recommend them for someone new. With changes to Texas state law, if you are not a resident of Texas, then you have to get your CDL from your home state first, then go the FFE course.

thanks, and yea i live in dallas ffe is not far from me

Also, show your DM (Driver Manager) that you are willing to run your butt off. I never let myself sit for too long. If I get somewhere really early, I ask for an interchange or to drop the trailer at a FFE yard that way I can keep moving. I also got a good DM, which I am thankful for.

I've been looking at FFE as well as others. Trying to figure out if they hire out of Georgia.

Outdated, but i did drive for them out of Lancaster in 1977-1981 when i lived in Arlington TX. I know plenty has changed however they were my first driving job and they were Decent back then. -
i have been driving for the since june and i am overall happy with them so far --- any trucking company you go too there is going to be the same bull that is inherit to the biz i get anywhere between 2800 and 3600 miles a week so i am averaging around 850 a week -- i had a week where they messed up a little only had 1850 miles but they admitted they messed me up and i got a $200 layover so my check was still over 700 -- they just switched dm s on me so not sure if thats going to be better or not --- but i run pretty hard and take care of things on my own as much as i can -- going to either lease or buy a truck in febuary or march -- want to get through christmas and january because its a little slower then --
