Hey, no problem! The whole process for me went pretty quick compared to what I've read and much faster than I figured it would. Anyways, it went like this; sent in my application by E-Mail. Couple days went by then I called to check on if they received it. No answer so called again two days later. Got a call back the next day from Ed. He confirmed they had received it and would be working on it. About a week passed and then he called me again and asked a few questions about stuff on my work history. Two days later he called and said they wanted to do a face to face interview. They were prepared to set up a time to fly me down for that part. Here's where things got sped up. I just happened to be on a load that was scheduled to be delivered in GP. Asked if I could just stop in and do the interview and stuff after delivering my load. They were ok with it so got right in and did the interview. Then I did the Drug screen and Physical later that day. Three days later I got a call with a job offer and was asked when I could attend Orientation. They gave me a couple dates for their orientation and I picked one. Now to answer your question. The whole process took about 3 weeks to complete. I know that's a lot more information than you requested but thought it might help. If you consider I'm giving my company a notice my actual over all time was 4 and a half weeks from Application to orientation. Hope that helps. :)

Long but productive day. Woke up about 0515 in Sheffield, AL in hopes that the guy would indeed be at the dock at 0530 and I was in luck. Knocked off the 3 pallets and then headed on toward Atlanta for another two drops and then rolled on up to Kannapolis, NC were I am sitting at the customer for an early morning delivery. Have one more drop in Durham tomorrow and then on to the house until Monday morning. Perhaps get in some deer hunting along with trick or treating with the daughter.

Well October could have been a little better in my opinion and some of that has to do with me learning the ropes but at least it is a decent bench mark for me from which to work.

    Total miles: 9753
    Extra drops: 7
    Total days home: 5
    Reset at terminal: 1
    Days driving: 24
    Average miles/day: 406
    Average length haul: 975 miles

Dinomite, Kutina and jdrentzjr Thank this.

Been a busy few weeks for me. I left Cottage Grove MN with a one stop load to Tacoma WA. After a 34 hr restart and delivery in Tacoma, I was given a load picking up in Selah, WA going down to Henderson, NV. I picked up the Selah load and made it to Boise (almost had to chain up on top of Cabbage Hill) when dispatch called and asked if I would be willing to swap loads with a driver who was broke down in Boise. I agreed and met her at the International shop there in Boise. Her load had three stops that were back over on I-5 in Oregon and WA. So back over Cabbage I went and made the three deliverys. After I was empty, I got a Backhaul of onions picking up in Othello, WA that was rolling back to Dallas. I delivered that load yesterday and am now at the yard in GP waiting for my outbound load to North Vernon, IN to finish loading. That load delivers Thursday at 0600, and soon as I'm empty, I'm rolling to the house to take a week off. My prayers go out to all you drivers up in New England. Stay safe and be careful.

No, but there is plenty of $$$ paid on hub miles, plus stop pay. :)
