The background check is because we have keys to all of our drop locations will full access inside the buildings.
YES,it is driver unload but all on pallets and we have lift gate trailers and electric pallet jacks.
Most stops takes 10 minutes to unload.
Run home empty 95% of the time at the same pay rate...

Must live within about 60 miles of the yard because we take the trucks home.

I guess most guys just want to bump docks and put up with the BS of shippers and dispatch..:biggrin_25513:

Now that's not fair. I'd be more than happy to apply for the job, as I'm not afraid of a bit of work. But like I said, I'm nowhere near N. Carolina, and I doubt they will hire a PA driver.

Maybe the respondents have no interest in wheeling popcorn and various other supplies in to movie theaters every where, when ever I read "team player" in job postings, I find that what it usually means has nothing to do with working as a team. When the pay scale matches the irritation factor of any particular job, then there no longer is a shortage of employees. If they are having a problem finding takers for this job at the going rate, then this situation will eventually work to your advantage if you do like working for this company, assuming that you are a driver, because the wages will eventually go up.
