Hi. I've been doing research on a bunch of companies and I have one question that I have yet to really see. How long does it usually take after you become a solo driver until you can bring on a rider?

Depends on the company but you should check on their website or talk to a recruiter about it. Prime has the rider policy on their website and other information to.
beaguinaga Thanks this. -
Prime, Roehl, and Swift?
Could you illuminate the thought process that placed these particular 3 at the pinnacle of your research? -
Sorry... Double posted.
Do not see a "delete" -
I was really thinking about Roehl, but the upfront costs have me thinking not... I really just dont think I can swing it right now.
Swift was the first company I looked at. They are there mostly because my mom and granparents worked there many years ago. Also, because I am a vet, the training would be free with a year contract. I've heard bad things though (more than the others) and I guess Swift would be my back-up plan if Prime does not work. -
LOL @ Swift. If you search hard enough you can find companies with JUST an orientation, then you get to do your thing.

Prime or Swift; two good choices.Prime sure has some beautiful flatbed div. tractors.Refrigerated with either company is the best money.
