Yet it boils down to these companies run E-logs doesn't it? Don't go blaming the fact they have horrible ratings in everything else to the fact they are training companies. The fact of the matter is a few on this thread want to push E-logs on everybody in the trucking world but yet all they do is hurt the industry in every other way. So how good are they now?

Even though they are training companies, their HOS Basic scores are beating the hell out of the companies still on paper. Just look at LS and we don't have any rookies or trainees.

Wow, this might be the most rediculous post in this thread...Common sense should considered a super power nowadays...

Meltom, volvodriver01 and 7-UP Thank this.

Okay so we want 0 drivers violating HOS but we want 100% of drivers to be unsafe or horrible in every other area? I personally think I would rather have a driver that gets popped for running a little over his hours every now and again than to have a driver that is unsafe at doing his job and putting people at more risk. But I guess this is where my common sense comes into play.

    7-UP and otherhalftw Thank this.

Well Yes seriously... I wouldn't of posted it if I wasn't being serious... It is known that a driver isn't "unsafe" or "dangerous" because he drove for 11 hours and 20 minutes. Now it is known that a driver speeding and driving reckless is unsafe and dangerous. I would hire a driver that has a log book violation before I hired an unsafe driver everyday of the week without batting an eye. Its a no brainer. Logbooks being illegal don't kill people. Unsafe and dangerous drivers DO. Maybe you haven't been out here long enough to know the roads yet so I will let you get your 10 hours of sleep so you can go hold the steering wheel tomarrow.

Lol @ people always trying to pull the experience card. Your statements are why any company you attempt to operate will end up on this site under "report a bad company" section. That has to be one of the most dumbfounded things I have ever heard.

It is, we're going to be replacing some staff soon and I pray....and I mean pray.... (almost done praying) that we hire someone with common sense. I don't want someone with experience, just someone smart that has common sense. You can be as strange as you like.
