You can get cash advances for tolls. They let you run any toll road except for the ones in Texas, Fl turnpike, and Colorado, because they are automated and you can't get a cash receipt to turn in.

You can get advances put on your card for Tolls. You just let them know how much you want and they load your Comdata card with the amount you request. I just should've requested more. Didn't realize I would need so much. It's all good now. I just didn't think I would need over $300 to pay for tolls.

I'm at GP yard waiting for a call from outbound dispatch. Will be here till about 1000 or so. After that time I'm going to get a hotel.

I took a short load to New Braunfels,TX on Tuesday in an effort to get through the house. Just before 1700 backhaul sent me a message that there were no loads going from Pol-Tex to Henderson,NV that would help me get home. So I called my wife to tell her I would not be coming home. Since NB is only 30 minutes from my house she said she would bring me what I needed so I could keep rolling. (BTW,I have a Great wife. Very supportive!)

Yesterday morning while waiting for unload to finish backhaul dispatch called with load info for a Pol-Tex transfer coming back to GP. While in route to GP I called OBD(Outbound Dispatch) to make sure I was on the board for today. Was told yes but that it would probably be a Friday departure. The reason is probably due to the fact I didn't send in Qcomm message for availability untill after I got backhaul load info yesterday morning. Got here last night and will try to squeeze in a 34hr restart. If not, no problem as I have plenty of hours returning. Especially with a zero day in the mix.

Lots of new trucks on the yard. About 50 at this time. All Intrnational ProStar+ with the MAXXFORCE engine. I took a peek inside one....NO STORAGE SPACE. Guess I'll have to find someway to down size my stuff if I should get one.

Sounds like you are pretty close to getting a call to come on over. The Perdium is explained a little on here on like pages 24-26 I believe. They have a flat rate of $59 a day for the days you are considered to be out from home. They apply that flat rate back against the money you make for driving before they figure your tax withholdings. Best for you to look at the examples on pages 25 or 26 of this thread. Hope that helps a little and good luck on getting a call.

Must have missed you somewhere JD. Saw your name a couple above mine on the trip drop cabinet. I had put my name on the outbound Monday for Thursday and was told KC was the only load available. Sitting now up in KC near the Sam's and hopefully avoiding late night lizards banging on my truck:)

Majestyk, if you get a Backhaul coming back to GP, I'll be at the yard tonight and probably Saturday depending on freight availability. Give me a shout when you get in, I'll buy you dinner.
