US express does it again(funny trucker ads)

lease a truck with 300,000 on it already... and own it in 3 yrs.. roughly $100,000 = $641weekly on just the lease.

 

i like the fact they dont mention that the big money you will be haulin in is their big money!!!

 

who in their right mind would lease a prostar?

 

Somebody who doesn't want to lease a Peterbilt,Kenworth, Freightliner,Volvo or Mack?

 

Husband was company when there in 2008 and had a Volvo, we loved it for the size compared to the truck he has now. It was hard to get into some of the old cities docks though and if the power steering went out like his did, it was a job to get it docked.

The company was pretty good back then if you had a good DM, but they got rid of the one he had who worked out of OK City, who was fantastic, when the economy went south. He quit a few months later. Don't know how they are now, but back then the l/o were getting cut on their miles.

 

What about Marmon & Diamond?

 

Consistant miles!! (Yup,consistantly horrible once you
get within a year of the end of the lease.....)

 

I never saw but one good lease/purchase program in all the years that I was involved in trucking. The ones that are offered today are nothing short of "scams" run by "con-artists". How any intelligent human being could fall for any of these "scams" is beyond me.

 

Only truck im aware of that usx leases are a 2007 Freightliner Columbia ...do not believe they lease Prostar pieces of crap anyways ..??
