Use the truck you already have. Are you a millionaire and have no debt?

That is a good point. KW does have a day cab attachment behind the cab if you want to take the sleeper off. However, the W900 doesn't have a very good turning radius compared to a T800.

Its a B so it will be the same as a t800, i would use the truck you have and just get a daycab kit for it if you dont need the sleeper.

Are you sellin the W9 and going to a straight truck with pup or keeping a tractor?

Where are you located? Up in Northern Canada, we spec them out quite heavy!

I see. One other thing I forgot. Isn't the KW steering stops adjustable? I think we had one of our T600's adjusted to turn sharper.

Comment about manueverablilty is a good point. Wheelbase to fit bridge law requirements will be a consideration for your intended use as I understand it. May think about keeping your weight down since your use will be for bulk hauling (more pay for more payload?).

I have a tare weight that I need to stay below, so I have some lightweight spec's but I have kept HP and gears as two trade-offs of that issue. I saved a couple of hundred lbs by not having an air-slide 5th wheel, for an example; but you may feel as if your application needs that. 22.5 over 24.5 wheel-tire combo saves about 10 lbs or so per wheel. Aluminum clutch housing saves about 50 lbs. How many batteries do you think you need? I still prefer 15 liter power, but you may want to look at 12-13 liter; saves 700-800 lbs with that.

Get yourself a salesman that gets into the spec's, not one who just wants to sell you a 'lot' truck and really has no idea of what may be available and the possible pro's and con's of those options.
