Getting unloaded now in brundidge al. Brought this one from Tyson in emporia ks. Planners got me through the house on Saturday for an unscheduled day off
. After this I deadhead to Pendergrass ga to pickup on 11/14 going to mason city ia for 11/16. After that load my first 2 full weeks are 2350 and 2500 miles respectively. Not too bad to start.
As far as guys complaining about miles, there are 3 parts in my mind. First, if you are used to running paper logs where you cheated and made "miracles" happen all the time, then realistically you will get less miles. Second, its about attitude. If you constantly have problems, you are the common denominator. Third, sometimes bad stuff just happens. Freight is impossible to predict accurately 100 percent of the time. I hope Tennessee finds what he's looking for, but remember the old adage: you can't please all the people all the time.
Also, I'm in 402. I heard something about these Petes being able to keep the batteries charge when hooked to a reefer. Any ideas how that works?Dinomite Thanks this. -
Reefer link ask don or mark.
-
Ya it is call a reefer link. Look on the back of the truck by the front right side of the catwalk. If you see a grey plug then they have it installed. If so you should have a 12' grey cable with a plug on one end a jumper cable clamps on the other. Just open the door to the reefer connect the jumper clamps on the reefer battery. Plug in the plug into the one on the truck. Start reefer and run on continuous. If you don't have the plug get with Mark and let him know so he can get you in Denver to have CT power to install it. Also don't run the truck and reefer at same time when the reefer link is in use. Also remember red to red, black to black. And connect the clamps first and plug last. That will stop you from shorting anything out.
frogman6042 and GenArcher Thank this. -
Sitting at the Petro in Amarillo getting my B Service done. Having the trailer checked out too. Needs a couple things fixed. Deliver this afternoon, then it's over to Tyson. Headed to La Porte to NOCS. I absolutely hate that place. Get there ASAP if you guys ever go there. They do not go by appointment times. First come first served.
GenArcher Thanks this. -
