These are the reasons that i quit working for sni. The people in indy where great to me. But the ones in green bay, now they need to have there heads examined. Good luck out there drivers.

These ambient sensors have made me change my mind about going to Schneider. What other decent starter companies do you guys recommend?

They're not horrible IF....IF....you are also equipped with both auxiliary heating and cooling, such as it appears is being done as new trucks arrive. But to install these things without fully supplying the driver with another source of heat and a/c is inexcusable to me. But SNI started putting these things in with only auxiliary heat available.

Yet another case of extreme short-sightedness. Also a reason I left SNI.

Finally had to go in for a PM Friday and had the sensor installed. Not looking forward to Winter at all. Schneider has done a great job at making me want to find another (better) company to drive for. Too bad, have definitely met a lot of cool people here.

I didn't read thru the entire 12 pages so this might have been brought up. Is this the type of system where if the truck is idling for 4-5 minutes a light flashes on the dash and then the truck shuts off? If so can you press then release the clutch to bypass it. My 2013 has a feature like this it's not temperature sensitive but pressing the clutch shuts it off when the light starts flashing.

Schneider makes me laugh at how they treat things in regards to fuel. I pick up from a place that has Schneider drivers there as well and even if they move 2 feet for a second to shut trailer doors or what have you and then get going the truck gets shut off. But then I see these same drivers driving like there last name is Andretti.
