so how do you pick up 84 more miles per week when you're already delivering everything they give you on time and then waiting for the next load?

i manage to pick up extra loads from time to time by busting my ### and persuading the customer to take me a day early, or by always making sure i hit the beginnings of every customer window, rather than the end. but then i lose time by having to wait for another load anyway.

i'm not sure how much this productivity stuff is under my control.

The productivity isn't under our control. That's why I don't think I'm going to like this new pay system. When I roll tomorrow morning to pick up my load, I will have been sitting for more than 42 hours. Sucko!

Well I can't help you on freight for van. Someone should chime in on how busy vans are this time of year.

Van freight is usually pretty consistent. Depends on where you empty out. I got stuck this weekend, but this is only the second time since last February I have gotten a 34 hour reset and not been at home.

Send a msg 16 to get highway routing for it, then you might call cons. for directions to door.

I've never been there, but luckily I am sitting at home and just found the place on google maps.Is it the BJ's on Metropolitan Ave? If so it looks like the easiest way in there is to take I-278 East and take exit 32 which will exit onto Rodney Street. Go about a block or so and take a right on Metropolitan Ave. Follow this all the way to the consignee. I hope this helps.

Note: I assume no responsibility if you deviate from route and get stuck somewhere.

Note from everyone to driver: you are responsible for the safety of the truck. If you top the truck and trailer you are done.

    Directions: Not found

Call to customer: Uh I can give you the way I come but I don't know if a truck will fit.

You follow directions: 10 ton weight limit

FM: Didnt you check your atlas?
