Wow, did you know you were going to need that many in advance? I don't care near that many chains and binders.

Honestly I didn't know id need that many. I've carried extra chains and binders and always forgot to drop them at a terminal. Glad I had them though, or this load wouldn't have been legal. At least I don't think it would have been legal since none of the reels are touching.

In OKC, OK. Load doesn't deliver until Monday so I get to experiment with layover.

Or I get to try to get my truck fixed. IDK what is going on with this beast. First a leak in an air line to the turbo. Now it is doing something like it all over again. Fuel efficiency down to 5.4 MPG driving in the Great Plains states. What gives?

That's funny, do they bother looking at the rest of details? GPS heading, triggers (clutch/brake/cruise/ignition), RPM's? Those help to determine if the event is real or not. I've never driven and I could tell them that, I won't but I could. I thin out the report for my company and we contact about 8 drivers per day on Roll Stability and maybe 5 on Hard Braking. Additionally we don't even contact people under 20, but that's just me. A lot more needs to be done with the reporting, there is so much information included it should be a crime not to use it to it's full potential.

One thing I can't stand is they always believe the computer before the driver.

I learned a lot from my time with Roehl, one of them was never believe a report unless you fully understand it and check it for accuracy from time to time. The other was listen to your drivers, the amount of coaching they need will reveal itself based on the story they tell you. I'm sure there was something else but I'm kind of full of myself, so I'll just shut up now.

Ps for anyone that cares I hear the retirement party for Grandpa is going to be around December 7th

In Gary. I was routed here by my FM to get a PM done. At least there are only 4 trucks ahead of me on the list. It is actually dead in here. On another note, my FM is always sending out messages about the Macro 57 and how you can get shutdown fot not doing it. Today I get a message enroute here from my FM saying now if you don't do it or even make mistake (put in the wrong date, forgot to sign it, etc.) you can not only be shut down but you will be entered into the Performance Improvement Process which everybody knows is an automatic down quarter. Heck even I have entered the wrong date but that justifies a PIP....really? Has anybody else received a message like this from their FM? I know my days here are numbered and my FM knows it becauae I have told her that. I am actually considering putting up my work performance against this and screw it up in purpose just to see what happens. Also if you are told to relay in Mogadore good luck getting in there. The trailers were 7 across and there was like 20 tractors parked in there. Now I know there isn't 20 Drivers out of there. There were tractors parked where we park our POVs! Now that is bad.
