Having it plugged in will definetly help when you go to start it. As long as you treated your fuel I would definetly start it up first thing in the morning and maybe in the evening. Isn't your truck set to idle in the colder temps. Just make sure you logged out when you do it so the idle percentage doesn't count against you.

At the cons in Maquoketa, IA. I guess I will try to check 2 hours early. My Green Bay run was cancelled this morning and replaced with a run to Houston. Lets see if my FM will try and play games with this one and have me relay it in East St. Louis.

I'm going to leave Thursday and come home on the 10th, then out till the 24th. Two 11 or 12 day stretches, and home for Christmas.

In Gary. Man going to be interesting here during the week. They've lost about 1/3 of the available parking area.

They said they were putting in a cafeteria and better driver facilities. That will be interesting.

I hope they get New dryers. If you try to do your laundry there you'll need to take a 34 hour reset when your cloths get dry

Don't worry about the fuel. If you have filled up at a terminal or any northern state it should be treated. Also, i wouldn't worry about starting everyday unless is stays below freezing ALL day. That's when you start to worry about keeping it start ready. I live near Minneapolis and have never had an issue even when I leave the auto-start off.

After taking 2 weeks of vacation, he called in Friday and took his 3rd week and gave his 2 week notice. The plan so far is he'll leave out of here next Monday and turn the truck into Gary by the 6th of Dec.
