I am at the new Pilot here in Duncannon PA. As usual, they have done a fine job of laying out the parking area. If you go to the right just inside the entrance, you will find that there are plenty of spaces..... Yes plenty of spaces you CANNOT get into because of the screwed up layout.
To the left, after almost hitting two power line poles surrounded by concrete barriers in the middle of the parking lot, you will find the usual fuel area with trucks three deep at all times of the day and night. Past that is the other parking area, which has many fine places to park in provided you aren't bothered by the blinking neon lights from the WHOREHOUSE NEXT DOOR.
Good job Peelot, you've managed to create another scum hole to spend the night in ( if you can even get in here).:biggrin_25514:

OMG, now that you have let that information out of the bag, I hope you are able to help direct the long line of traffic that is about to hit that place!

That was an old private owned truck stop, Pilot bought it and renovated it. Those spots have always been that way. Im dissapointed they took the resturant out, was a decent place to eat. I think thats the one youre reffering to, on 322 by the river.

At least they paved the parking lot. It used to have potholes that would swallow my mother-in-law... and the cathouse next door, well if ya wanna see big chicks with few teeth, thats your place lol. If you're traveling west on 322, about an hour west of duncannon in Milroy, there's a nice little mom and pop truckstop with a really nice parking lot. Used to stay there alot

I figured they would have changed the old layout but there I go thinkin again! Word 2 the wise 4 all who rnt familiar w/location I tell all newer drivers to consider this a north or westbound stop only!! Unless it is the wee hours getting back out thru traffic 2 go south or east can b down rite dangerous--specially since most of the traffic pays no attn 2 the 45mph limit thru town
    Just my $.02
