Depending on what way the wind was blowing it looked like a balloon.....but I do have a question when you have tarps with flaps and a nice square load like that......does the flap go over the sides when the sides are pulled around or or do the sides go over the flap?

Sides go under the flap on the front and over the flap on the rear.

Just make sure that front flap is over the sides in bungee berry tight and you shouldn't have any ballooning from the front. I always get it on the side towards the rear of the load depending on how tall the load is in where I can hook my bungees to.

I use rope to tie the sides together in the front then I use bungees to tighten the flap. Like milskired said you want that front flap real tight. I put a bungee on every D ring.

    milskired Thanks this.

I like tarps with flaps. I think I might get them on my next set of 4' tarps.
