Yeah, do what the pass says instead of the sign. Sometimes they give the red light then put the closed sign out because the ramps full. Then I do what the sign says lol . It always worked for me. I'll make them chase me down. They earn their living off my profession and my tax dollars, the last thing I want to do is make it easy on them.

 

Virginia and illinois get screwy with the prepass, some days they will red light everyone, or turn it off completely.

CA the law is 100 is citable, 200 stay till violation is corrected. I have been 500 and just received warnings, but I was ok on my axles.

 

Just because ou know the answer does not mean everybody does, if you've already read this info don't read it again if it bothers you. This is a trucking site for truckers to help each other, not a whine and complain site. Take your crying not related to trucking somewhere else.
