Why are you only worth 25 cpm? Criminal record, bad driving record or something else that only allows you a 25 cpm job?
Sorry, but the 25 cpm is your number and I was only using it because I thought you were sharing your own personal experience with us like you should be doing and not making things up. -

Please share your own experience here instead of posting nonsense.
These threads are about learning from each other's experiences in this industry and not flame each other with information fabricated. -

i have learned a long time ago, if someone isnt listening, then you are wasting your time talking
you could be preaching unadulterated gospel, with a symphony behind you and if people arent listening, you are wasting your time
this man pays his drivers 25cpm and his fleet is getting 10mpg. and for some reason, that is fair to some of you
you are the same guys who complain about England, Prime, etc raping drivers
i dont get it, you should work as a PR man for sweatshopssdlm Thanks this. -
There is no slave labor in this country and everybody is free to quit any job anytime they want.
This thread is getting off track over a useless .25 cpm pay rate discussion. Please take your personal .25 cpm pay rate complaint somwhere else because if you will not quit the .25 cpm job, we can't help you. Just face it you might only be worth .25 cpm to any company. Sorry!Cowpie1 Thanks this. -
MVT invested heavily into every truck/trailer aero mod that works. They governed their trucks down and spec their engines to be the bare minimum for power/torque. They also run mostly I-10/20/30/40 and NEVER WV or across the Rockies. And they have lots of lighter freight loads (ie insulation by GAF). Add all of that and yes, 10 mpg is attainable. Heck, 7.25 on my 700 hp (Pittsburgh Power box/turbo/manifold) is attainable going 65 mph.

Got a buddy with a hydrogen cell getting 9 mpg too, boosted about 2 mpg for him. Tried it on my SUV a couple years ago and I couldn't get it to work for me. He says it takes some maintenance to keep it tuned and going but it's worth it to him. I think there are easier ways.

Save your money because this technology is not ready for trucking and still needs to be proven it works. It would take more energy to break down the H2O than it gives back or we would all be driving water fueled hydrogen powered cars and trucks with great emissions and zero fuel expense as long as water was available.
