Does anyone know how to disable the welcome screen on this program?
Every time I start the program I have to dismiss a welcome screen and it's annoying.

Come to think of it, I dont recall seeing this over the summer but there have not been any updates.

    Anyone?

maybe you did something that caused a glitch in your windows operating system. and the only way to fix that is to do a complete wipe and reinstall of the operating system.

you might look around in your settings though to see if there's something that needs to be unchecked or what not.

i use trucklogger. it always brings up the welcome screen but then loads into my log screen. there's a setting i can use to go straight to either the log screen of the hos recap screen.

Wait. I'm confused. You have to dismiss a screen after the log comes up? And that screen just says "Welcome?" Mine does not do that. Are you sure it doesn't say more like an upgrade pack is available or something?

When you launch the program...every time now..
You see the Eclipse logo square and then a "WELCOME" box that offers a video tutorial link (IIRC) and I have to
dismiss this box to get into the program. Not an upgrade. I am registered and I tried to re-register and that
didnt help. Also, there are no updates at the moment for the version I am on.

I will chat with support later this afternoon....it's annoying each time the program is launched!

Just chatted with them for you. They had no idea what this is either. They would like to either connect to your screen and see it, or have you take a screenshot maybe? Whenever you get a chance, of course. Please either post here or PM me when you find out. I do a lot of support on this program and this is a new one. I didn't think there could be a new one for me at this point. Lol.

    Hanadarko Thanks this.

Sure thing.....I run this on a total of 2 laptops and the funny thing was that I didnt see this on the 2nd laptop
    until I 'synced' them.

Basically I use one laptop in the rig and backup Eclipse to a flash drive.
Then when I am home, I open up the program on the 2nd laptop and RESTORE the contents of the flash drive, so both laptops are up to date.

However, once I synced the home laptop it too started now showing the welcome screen.

    Maybe that's a hint?

Well the few times I tried today, chat said "TRY LATER".
    So I gave up.

Here is what I see each and every time I launch the program:

    Untitled.jpg
After I hit CLOSE, this window goes away and the program comes up...

That is the screen that is supposed to come up when you first install LogBook and you have not entered any hours yet. It reminds the driver to put in their last week of hours to be legal.

So you are saying that you are getting this screen every time you open it, even though you have more than a past week of hours entered?

I dont run OTR full time.
So I can tend to have at LEAST a week of no hours entered at times.

I guess this is why the program thinks I am a new user?
