And I'm sure your company's safety rating is just fantastic because of that

Unsafe driving is like a 33, fatigued is around 35. Safe stats is a 22. We'll call that above average and darn near good.

the company I'm with right now? Just went over 70.....the company I'm going to? Low 30's

I stand corrected. It's the rookie drivers with no experience that's causing all the problems at the company I'm with right now, and its aggravating as hell, I havent turned in a report with even ONE violation on it in over a year, and I've had at least 10 inspections in that time, but the #### rookies keep getting logbook violations and other stupid stuff that can be avoided

HMMM weren't you a "rookie" once? Get a grip bud and don't blame the younger less experienced guys. How do you know it is rookies getting in trouble anyway? Do you see what the operations of the companies see?

I may be able to help a little here.My boy got his class A CDL with all the endorsements when he was 18.we live in Pa,he went to work for a custom harvester out of Indiana as a truck driver. They hauled the combines and grain cart and tractor and grain heads to California near bakersfield to start cutting wheat. They cut in california colorado and montana and hauled everything back to indiana. He then went to work for a very large feedlot in Nebraska as a truck driver hauling distillers grain for cattle feed 7 axle side dump hauling 95000lbs legal. He did that until the 1st of october of this year and took his own tractor and leased it onto a carrier in north eastern Iowa as an owner operator. They are a very well run and organized company in my opinion.I believe they have gone out of thier way to help and guide him.I see his settlements and can say he is doing well, hauling tractors and implements they have kept him busy between Iowa and Maryland ,Pa and new jersey back and forth.today is his birthday he is 22 today oh all endorsement except hazmat which I would not want any way. He drove in california Utah Nevada colorado kansas nebraska north and south dakota montana illinois and Indiana all on his pa license when he was 18. I hope this helps

northfork was all over the younger drivers but I think he is wrong. The young ones that have a brain and use it do very well. The so called professionals we have to put up with are the ones causing most of the problems.you know the ones I am talking about, the guy that runs behind another truck that is backing into a parking spot or set in front of you with his headlights and drivings lights in your face while you are trying to back in. the ones that run down the road three feet behind the car in front of them and on and on
