They upgraded him early. I figured rolling in at noon they would have us wait until morning. Guess not. Upgrade only took 3 hrs, they are speeding things up a bit. They are 27 loads short ib slc so I grabbed an mt and headed to Stockton. Thats one of the nice things about being on a dedicated fleet.

 

Just heard a new one relayed from one of the planners! My trailer that had hash browns and curly fries in it doesn't need to be washed out because it was a frozen load. So my apologies to the next driver when it still smells like potato skins and feet! (jk, I'm at blue beacon) they were wanting me to accept a load 2 hours after my 99 that was 71 miles away. Luckily someone got it picked up locally and I can take care of this trailer but with 2,000 trucks why is everything so freaking rushed that they have to run drivers into the dirt? I make decent money and sleep well most nights because I plan my trips and my week. Yes, I'll split eight to get somewhere if I have to and I'll run as hard as I have to to get 3,000 miles. This job isn't easy, but it's not crazy hard either. I just wish I could pick and choose my own loads. Sigh, 33 months to go!

Kfsto, if I were to hazard a guess. Otherwise omst. Roger is still the best dm I ever had. Last Sunday he ran me from North Carolina to Kampdc (near atlanta) MT to keep me rolling.

 

I'm there now. Will be rolling out at 4am. In the tv room doing homework.

I'm picking up at KFSTO, my load wont be ready until 0430. And yes Rodger is awesome.

Lodi usually fills up by 1500. Free, more or less clean showers are a big pull for me.
