No, it's the law telling you when to drive, and when to sleep.

I live in md and primarily run south and back. I also run in the midwest area.

eobr is coming. its been passed. they have not however yet made a ring on what the eobr is to look like. it may be a full qc setup with electronic logs and everything or it could just be something simple. nobody knows yet and if someone says they do they are a lier. mercers statement is that they will not require any eobr untill they know wlexactly what will be required and it is mandated. then we will be required to comply with the minimum requirement.

sounds like a way better policy then landstar

Fella, I'd say challenge the skybitz tracking. Check out the Ranger 2 facebook group and talk to the BCO's in there about how they are challenging them. You may find they can't force you because skybitz is BS. The pings are wrong 95% of the time. If we ever meet, I'll tell you the story about the skybitz trailer pinging in Memphis that was actually in Las Vegas.

Outside of that, buckle down, get the EOBR and make that money back with some good paying loads. You're connected with agents here, you're established, and you're with a strong company whether we all agree with their changes or not.

    Double log books? LoL...

Have a BCO friend who is recovering from a bad accident that was not his fault, no citations were issued, nothing wrong with his logs. Witnesses verified what happened. Anyways while recovering LS has been pestering him about trailer pings and log not matching. Also told him when he comes back he will have to install elogs. He complained they never asked how he was or when he is coming back - well they are a big company I guess. That sort of thing wouldn't irk me so bad. He's quitting them and possibly leasing on with F2F as soon as he recovers. And he really has nothing bad to say about LS he loves their system. It is what it is. I told him elogs are the future at some point but I don't want them either and can't blame him.

That wasn't the question was it ;).. it was a simple Yes or No question.. I guess thats a tough one for you.. my bad..

when people start answering questions with a question general they are lying or have something to hide... IMHO
