Got a question, my app was approved but waiting on the upper guys to approve my criminal background.

I need a stable work history of 5 years, does that need to be 5 consecutive years of work? Because within my last 3 jobs has been 5 years and 3 months, but between job 2 and 3 I had an 8 month stint without work. Should this be a problem once I get out there if background is approved?

its been since 2004 but im willing to do the training with a trainer again,,i just dont have the funds to pay for school all over again

 

Does a trainee still gets the guaranteed $600 if the trainer goes home but the trainee still wants to drive? I'm not clear on that.

 

I've read somewhere that if the trainee doesn't take home time (stays on the truck or gets put up in a motel via trainers/company expense) the trainee will still get paid the $600/wk since the trainee is still available for dispatch. Otherwise if the trainee takes home time, loses the $600 for the week.

Please correct if I am wrong here.
